Times they are a-changing

These past 5 months have brought about some new ideas within the Noise Pollution camp. We've learned a couple new songs which we'll be debuting this coming weekend at Papa's Social Club--hope to see you there! And we've decided to try a slightly new direction with the band.

We'll be taking another break after our show on Friday, October 31st at Bobby Rockets. This break will be much shorter than our summer vacation--only 2-3 months ideally. We'll be re-working the Noise Pollution setlist by adding in some new material. We'll no longer be the "Ultimate Tribute to the Hard Rock and Metal of the 80s". Instead, Noise Pollution will be more of a "Hard Rock Experience".

What's this mean? For one, our final show "in costume" will be on Halloween. We may occasionally pull the costumes out of our closets for special occasions and of course for Halloween. But in general, we'll be performing "unmasked".

This also means a more diverse songlist. Yes, we'll still be playing Van Halen and Motley Crue and AC/DC and Poison and Ratt. But we'll be playing songs from the past 20 years as well. Songs by bands including Stone Temple Pilots, Green Day, Nickelback, and Buckcherry to name a few.

We're really looking forward to these next three shows, and we're very excited about what 2009 will bring to the band. Thanks to everyone who's kept in contact over our summer vacation, and thanks in advance to everyone who comes to the show at Papa's this weekend. We look forward to Rocking You Like a Hurricane for a long time to come!
